We have been advised to use expanding foam insulation,as our bus has plastic panals already fitted inside,we were told if we drilled a few holes and filled with the expandable foam this would be our easiest option has anyone on here got any thoughts or advice they could give us.

If you have not already started the conversion I would recommend removing the plastic and replacing this with ply board and using the plastic as a template. The first reason would be that i did have the plastic sides in my Sprinter but when it gets hot in there the plastic starts to ripple and makes the sides look terrible. Second i would not waste money on insulation but on a good Propex Heater, I got mine about a year ago and having not used insulation on this build has made no difference what so ever. Don’t believe the hype.
