I'm in the process of converting my Suzuki Carry 1.3 2004 to a micro camper. I've read quite a lot of on-line comments about this and as I'm an experienced and resourceful practical man I'm finding it a very interesting and satisfying project. The one thing that really has me puzzled is this - at some stage I want to fit a sunroof or large top-opening vent in the roof over the lowered section of the floor between the sliding doors. I can't see how it is possible to do this in a deeply ribbed roof like the 1.3 Carry has. Has anyone done this before? I would be very grateful for any comments.
I found a company online who can suppy side windows for almost any vehicle. I can't remember the name but if you enter 'van side windows' in your search engine it will probably come up. I have to find them again soon because I want to buy side door windows for my Suzuki 1.3 Carry. They do both bonded and rubber mounted windows. I want to buy the rubber mounted ones because they will look right on my van.
