Hi All,

We have jumped feet first into the camper world and bought ourselves a 1979 VW LT28 campervan at the weekend. It needs work shall we say but we are excited and keen (though lacking in skills) to get her restored...

I have not found many sites or other owners restorations of this van specifically, so wanted to just see if anyone out there has had experience with/or currently owns a LT28 :)

We have grand ideas of ripping out the shower unit and fitting a swivel bench with seatbelts (which also converts to a bed) and bringing the interior upto date but will be starting with a good cleanup and rust tackling mission!

A recommendation on a good welder would be good ;)
