home conversion on vwlt35lwb

hi i am undertaking another conversion [i must be madlol]

i have previously converted a ldv convoy ex police riot bus and two ford transits and a mazda bongo

i now considering converting my vw lt35 lwb high top

has any1 else converted a lt

i need to make this a 4 berth as nw arrival to family

i was thinking the same layout as my previous vans a seetee opposite side loading door that converts to a double then i need to make 2 beds for my daughter who is 5 and for my son who is newborn

obvisouly my son will be in a travel cot but im thinking long term as i want the van to last 3 or 4 yrs

any ideas will be greatly apprecieted  gordon

Congratulations on the new arrival!!  Glad to hear you need the van to fit the whole family, wish my folks had done the same when I was little....

Haven't worked with a LT35 high top but looks like a good sized van for what you need.  The main option I've seen before would be to try and make use of the high top and put some kind of platform in which could make a bed space up in the roof for the kids.  You'd want some kind of safety barrier to make sure they can't fall out but it might be kind of cool for them to clamber up there to sleep.  This kind of thing...

T4 Pop top Question

Can anybody tell me the overall dimensions i.e width x breadth x depth of a VW T4 pop top matress and also if it can and is usually left in the pop top whilst pop top is down ???

Any links to suppliers, sorces of futher info etc appriciated
