One of the problems with a conversion is that the local DVLA office find it hard to re-classify the vehicle with first having insurance, and the insurance brokers won't do their bit until you have your new registration.

The company that saved the day was Scenic. No messing about. Didn't even have to be a member of a caravan club.

£276 was the price, and there was no problem that it is a 4-litre engine. They understood that with a 'city axel' that it will barely hit 60 mph.
