Hi,
What sort of battery capacity is reasonable for a week off-grid?Obviously I kow this depends on how you use it, but as an average user. I'll be following the Tour de France in June/July and can see a 6 night stint parked on the roadside, so was wondering if I should go for 2 x 110 or a single 270 or maybe even more than that?
Ideas please.
Regards,
Martin

Hi All,
I settled for 2 x 225Ah plus a single 110Ah on the caravan circuit.
As an update, I ended up buying a written off caravan and putting all of the inside and systems from that, into Arfur. We had a fantastic time following Le Tour de France (check out facebook.com/arfursworld) living with the van as work in progress. Enough was complete to be more than comfortable, but I do have a problem with the charging and wiring that I need to resolve.
Since then, we've been in Hong Kong for 4 months, so work has ceased while Arfur is safely locked away, but we're back for xmas and I've just got him started ... a few jobs are on the list, one of them being understanding the wiring better :)
