we've got a 1995 reimo lift top campervan 

the thing is that one of the hydraulic pistons that lift the top jumped out last weekend and we cant get it back in. It has gone rigid. Is this a common problem and does the piston need replaced? It does seem like it and we noticed that the other one was replaced a couple of years ago.

Any thoughts?
