Nice 'load rated' alloys

Hello again,

Anyone have any idea about what type of wheels i can get away with on my T4. I hear they have to be load rated but i see loads of nice t4/t5's with really nice split rims and euro style alloys. so if anyone could shed some light on a good stockist / showroom I'd be most grateful.

Cheers

Load Rated Alloys?

 Hi Rich.

Load rated alloys? I might be wrong about this but I don't think the rims are load rated (I've never heard of it). The tyres that you're fitting to the rims need to be load rated to match (or preferably exceed) the maximum axle weight of your van. Your maximum axle weights (in Kgs) can be found on your Vin plate as Axle 1(front), Axle 2(rear). Tyre load ratings are explained on Wikipedia at Tire Sizes and many of the on-line tyre companies have load rating tables on their websites. Hope this info helps.
