I have been given a deisel night heater for my camper, the problem is it is 24v, is there any way i can fit this into my van whitch is 12v. I would be greatful for any advice.
If it's 24 volt it has been fitted in a truck maybe an Ebspacher unit, a quick call to the manufacturer should be able to tell you if you can fit an inverter, between the power suply and the unit.
i have a 24 v system in my truck which is actually two 12 v batteries in series .now i dont know a lot about electrics but as said above i see no problem with inverting the 12v up to 24v or silly idea fit 2 12v leisure batteries in series to bump it up to 24v?
