Depends on your make of van but a Germany company called Reimo has ready-made window mats for most types e.g. VW, Fiat, Mitsubishi, Mercedes, Renault. They also have the material and kits for making your own DIY mats. There are 2 companies in the UK I've come across who import Reimo stuff. They are Concept Multi-Car in Kent and Motor Caravan Conversions (Reimo) in Manchester. You should be able to find their details on the web. I guess there may be others but these might be a good starting point....
Not sure.....the usual place to start is Reimo (they import camper van stuff from Germany). The Reimo catalogue I've got is super old and doesn't list LDVs. However, I reckon having looked at the Reimo site they might have something that works, even if not specifically for an LDV convoy i.e. possibly some of the motorhome ready made mats are the right dimensions (or near enough). Give them a call?
They really aren't too hard to make if you have a decent sewing machine (or access to one) see article here. Honest! You can just buy a big enough roll of material from Reimo get suction pads online and them make them to size. Be interested to know if Reimo have something that suits though.....
Silverscreens in Cleckheaton, they have a website, will make insulation screens for any van. They make a good argument for external screens. I ended up paying £60 for mine. Cheaper than a Reimo DIY kit. Very pleased wih the screen and the service from this small family firm.
We're now selling window insulation mats on this site - we reckon the ones we're selling are pretty much the ones to go for and at a good price so now you don't need to go anywhere else!
