Pop up roof.

Hi all,

I have bought a Nissan Largo mk1 and it has already had a very basic conversion with all back seats removed, beds/seats on both sides and a sink/ storage area, I intend to finish to a much higher standard but with the engine and body work that needs doing a chunk of my budget is already gone so my question to all you knowledgable folk out there where can I find a company that would supply a DIY pop up roof for the Largo?

Alternatively has anyone made their own pop up roof, if so how was the mould made and the canvas attached?

I have trawled the internet and found very little with regard to self made roofs except for some on youtube but they are only a few minutes long and don't go into necessary detail.

Any advice, links and shared experiences would be much appreciated, if anyone has a plans for such a roof I would not expect a copy for free.

Thanks and happy camping:)

Hi, I just had a pop-up roof

Hi,

I just had a pop-up roof installed by DriveLodge in West Yorkshire.  They made a fantastic job of it, including working around all my current fixtures and fittings!

They do all sorts of roof conversions - but I don't know if they will supply for a DIY install. Here are their details anyway, you might want to contact them.
