Task Write-up:

You can see from the photos but the bed system is pretty straightfoward. The chair has a release catch underneath which drops the backrest down forming one half of the bed. 2 removable plywood boards go in the back (supported on wooden struts over the wheelarches).

4 old sofa cushions make up the mattress. These are stored out the way during the day with the 2 big cushions suspended from the ceiling with 2 wooden dowling rods and the 2 small ones tucked into the side with a bungee holding them fast.

The 2 boards and all the cushions can be taken out when the van isn't being used as a camper.
