Transit V6 2.9l SWB potential camper

Hi all

Selling my '92 SWB semi-hi top van; originally a minibus, ideal as a basic camper; I've used it as both over the years. In really good nick overall for age. Got the following

* ~88k on clock (for van and about the same for engine, I believe)
* 2.9l V6 EFI engine (transplanted before I got it by a ford dealership (done professionally)) - engine code BRG i think
* Runs really, really well. Starts first time every time. Sounds great.
* Custom stainless twin exhaust
* Automatic
* Bodywork in very good condition for its age; some patches in usual spots: sill, bottom of sliding door, rear n/s wheel arch, some bubbles around. Overall very good; none are too serious (though see below)
* The rear n/s wheel arch is on its way out (not urgent-seen a lot worse), I've got a set of spare metal arches which I've not had time to fit which I'll chuck in
* Additional front spot lights, reflectors are rusty on inside
* Heater works on max fan setting only, but I've got new rheostat; just needs fitting
* New o/s front wheel bearing two years ago
* Will try and change oil / filter in the next week or two

From a camper point of view:
* Currently fitted with two front captains-chair seats (driver, passenger) on swivel bases: really good condition.
* Second battery (currently just a small 7ah) and relay split-charger, second battery meter
* Fluorescent strip light (internal light)
* 1x12v spotlight (internal light)
* 3x cigarette lighter socket (two from aux battery) - one at rear of van
* Grey custom curtains (held on with those incredibly strong little magnets and suckers)
* Medium weight inverter for 240v power (can't remember rating)
* Alternator power-output LED
* Tow bar, step, electrics (needs new socket (which I have) but will try and fit in next week)
* Some windows are lightly tinted
* Back of van (it is all open, no bulkhead) is currently empty so you have a 'blank canvas'

* All additional seats (to make it an 11 seater) are available and in excellent (barely used) condition

* Original radio/cassette player installed!
* Got a 'flashing LED' diagnostic tester for it somewhere (never used it!)

Extras which I may sell:
* Propex heater and window insert for exhaust/inlet
* Leisure battery (100 Ah I think, hardly used)

* MOT runs out at the end of May; if you intend to keep it on the road I'll get it renewed (it always sails through)
* Tax until end of May '13
* I think I'm the third owner (will check V5); the first being the Ford dealership who installed the engine, the second being an employee of that dealership

This is a great van, she runs very well, looks and sounds good. I've looked after it and driven it with care. It's certainly a different van, not many of these V6s out there; sounds great. Some 'character' and niggles as you'd get with any van of this age.

Based in Edinburgh.
