Thank you DVLA - they have re-considered my application and have now agreed to change the body-type of my Carry Van to Motor Caravan. Previously, because the exterior hadn't changed (other than side windows), the rejected the application.

After 2.5 years of planning, building, and using - I now own a "Motor Caravan". (See conversion here under Small Van Conversions)
